Couples Therapist/Owner

Michael Scheib, LCSW, M.S. Ed, C-DBT, C-EDIP

Michael mainly practices Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) and has become passionate about this model in the last few years. Michael is also trained in Integrative and Sensate Focused Sex Therapy, which can often be a part of couples’ counseling. He treats a wide variety of disorders in individual therapy, with specialities in Borderline Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, and OCD.

Outside of therapy, Michael is an avid musician, racquetball player, and cook. He lives in Southern Maine with his partner, two children, two cats, and two dogs.

Catherine Conway, LCPC-C

Catherine is a couples therapist that also uses Integrative Behavioral Couples therapy in practice. Catherine believes collaborative, relational process grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. She is compassionate and attuned, creates space for clients to explore both immediate challenges and the deeper patterns that shape how they move through the world.

Outside of work, Catherine spends as much time as possible hiking, biking, and being in nature with her husband and kids. At home she likes to garden, cook, read, and bask in gentle breezes and sunshine.

Thomas Bell, LCPC-C, C-DBT

Thomas Bell, LCPC_C is a couple’s therapist that is also versed in Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy and has training in Integrative Sex Therapy. Thomas’ background is in substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. He meets with individuals and couples in our Hallowell, ME office.

In his free time, Thomas downhill mountain bikes and saves feral cats.

Megan Simmons LCSW

Megan Simmons, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families across a wide range of settings.

Megan approaches therapy with a whole‑person perspective, honoring the ways the mind, body and faith influence one another as well as how life experiences impact both. She integrates evidence‑based modalities with natural, supportive practices that help clients strengthen both mind and body. Megan uses eclectic methods in couples therapy, with concentration on Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy.

Outside of her clinical work, Megan enjoys a full and lively home with her husband, two young children, two dogs, and one cat. She is an avid reader who often finishes more than 100 books a year, and she loves spending time outdoors and appreciating the small moments that make life meaningful.

Hannah Schlotterbeck, LCPC

Hannah is a therapist grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore the full range of their identities and roles, molding support to the specific intersections that matter most to each client. Anna has a focus in Couples Therapy and Sex and Intimacy work. An Expressive Arts Therapist by training, Hannah believes in the healing power of creative and artistic expression and exploration, and incorporates the expressive arts whenever valuable to clients.

Hannah lives with her partner and two small children. She loves to spend time gardening, making yummy food, dancing, and watching live theater and circus (with a sweet spot for her children’s puppet shows).
